We are still rejoicing that the beloved MMWR is back to regular weekly cadence. This week's report has two publications - one on the first case of mpox Clade 1b in the Americas, and another on influenza seroprevalence among bovine veterinarians. You can find both here: www.cdc.gov/mmwr/index.h...

I’m heartbroken and furious in equal measure. He doesn’t know the difference eternally Medicare and Medicaid but is now in charge of both.
The Coordinating Committee of Defend Public Health has released the following statement about the confirmation of RFK Jr. as HHS Secretary.

CDC website is being scrubbed of anything related to STI treatment, HIV prevention, gender care, probably vaccine stuff. Dark dark days. We at work trying to download pdfs and save invaluable clinical resources.

Had a meeting at work yesterday where we talked about what to do if ICE shows up at our clinic (FQHC in MA) and only my hat in progress kept me from crying. Good news: HIPAA >> ICE (for now). #familymed #darktimes #knitting
