I wonder what the CGI generation(s), used to Tennant and Capaldi and through-scoring, make of the original series. It must seem so strange and so different. Even the institution that made it, BBC Drama, ceased to exist over thirty years ago.

I remember William Hartnell saying in the 10th anniversary mag that though other people thought DW would fail, he knew it would work. "It'll last five years!" he'd said. And then it was ten! And now it's sixty. Who'd've thought it?
