When I applied for new roles I was hesitant to say I had been made redundant because I felt like it was negative.
But don't, be upfront as companies have seen it as the opposite, and see it as having the opportunity to gain great talent that was previously unobtainable

Having recently had a job I loved snatched from me for the same reasons, I know how shit it feels.
