So many successful anti-hero franchises over the years, it’s what boys imagine men ought to be. That’s why it always feels so performed. Imagining themselves in Fincher-esque blue hues from attractive angles in slow motion fight scenes and musical accompaniment. Something nu-metal, likely. Tiresome.
