Apparently it’s National Dog Day. Small confession: I’m afraid of dogs. Big, small, friendly, unfriendly. They all make me at least a little nervous. Dog books, though? Yes, please. Might I recommend GRANTED by John David Anderson? Such a cute story with a fairy, a dog, and an adventure.

I just listened to Corinna Luyken’s episode of the Reader’s Heart podcast, & I had to look more closely at her new book, ABC AND YOU AND ME. It’s such a lovely book—full of body positivity. Well worth perusing closely, even for grown ups. #PictureBooks
