Hanging out listening to my oldest try his hand at being the DM for his group's D&D game and doing drawing practice with my youngest.
A desk with drinks, a sketchbook, reference book and pencil case spread about. The sketchbook shows two drawings of a Coyote laying down. There is a child who leaned into the picture last moment and put her arms in the way of the sketchbook but thats okay. Desk is messier now with all the pens and pencils out, and a new sketchbook page is open. We worked on cows step by step and she decided to color in her cow. Child's cow, 90% colored. Child insisted I also colored my cow, so theres a Strawberry Belted Galloway cow, a holstein cow with a purple bow and their baby, a red spotted holstein looking little dude.

Some critter brought me a hibiscus seed around 2 years ago, and I carefully avoided it as a seedling and let it grow. It has grown into such a stunning member of the yard.

So, some dorky critter keeps getting into my trash. And naturally, the vultures show up. The black vultures are very brave morons, the turkey vultures (red head) is so shy and he perfectly reflected that in the only picture I got of him 😂

So, Crayola has free coloring pages which has been fun. Also, adult coloring pages that are detailed without 500000 tiny shapes in them. Also colored pencils are fun. There's also a daisy field with a rabbit but i forgot where I put it. Gonna bet my kid might have taken it to hang somewhere 😂

So, I was rapid fire snapping some pictures of one of the cows across the road and one of the pictures is purple for no reason?? The 3 pictures are literally normal PURPLE normal again lol

Some watercolor today~ All of it turned out so good until I knew i was tired on my last go at making something and it turned out to be a flower that looks like a butthole and balls from just about every angle.

My guy has opened way too many packs in the Pokemon TCG that contain 1 or more magnetons. So naturally, he needed 1 more. 😂

We had some snow recently, and Talus SUPER enjoyed it. He's a stunning pup and acts like such an angel ❤️ Yall pray for me when we get to the psycho t-rex stage, he's too calm for it not be absolutely insane.

I made this a couple years ago when my oldest kiddo had his first year of standardized testing. His teacher sent home a request to adults to make motivational posters for the kids so they could look up feom their tests and have some personal reassurance from their adults.

I took my kids to an alpaca farm for an event this past weekend and realized just how much I miss hanging out with farm critters 💛

This photo is taken at ground level and contains a small domesticated rabbit that is resting underneath large pumpkin vine leaves. The rabbit is brown agouti colored and there are small pink wildflowers in the midground of the picture. The foreground contains various grasses and weeds that are not in sharp focus.

So I totally forgot I had Bluesky for a bit because I didnt realize it changed from a cloud icon to a butterfly icon on my phone. Whoops! Heres my frog friend I met in the back porch boot tray yesterday.

Two small watercolors from the other day :]
A small watercolor (approximately 3 inches by 3 inches) of birch trees and foliage shifting from summer greens to autumn oranges and yellows. There are several mistakes in the piece, such as trunk areas with too much black because of a paint mishap. The piece was a valuable learning experience for the artist. A small water color painting( approximately 3 inches by 3 inches). The scene is a night scene, with the viewer standing at the edge of a clump of bare winter deciduous trees looking towards a thicket of evergreens across a meadow. The moon is a crecent moon and has an aura around it that stars are visible through. This is a phenomenon that occurs before rain, where the humidity is high enough that the light reflects off of the particles in the atmosphere but not so high that the reflection blocks the view of the stars behind it. This means rain os coming, but not for a couple days.
