It's how I first started thinking about almost 2 years ago and yes, initially, I was thinking of a decentralized community built on the blockchain where giving rather than taking was rewarded where money didn't count as votes - that's still our philosophy. The focus is on #ethics within #capitalism.

Ethical is not binary. Why it's a score 😊. Everyone can continually improve. It's like the B Lab model. Yes, it proves that they scored well but we don't have a provider conflicts of interest. The score is annual. The criteria, scoring, and weighting system gets updated continually w/random audits.

It is about elevating the most ethical and reputable providers. There are many that are already great, certification just proves it so you have a unique and observable measure of their #ethics and reputation. 🔍✨

FWIW, I don't think the @nytimes.com article was a "hit piece". All humans have their biases. On balance, the article was more objective than yours or psymposia. I think bad actors should absolutely be called out. We focus on observable and measurable #ethics. #Decriminalize with recourse is key ☮️

Also, the dismissal of psymposia investigation seemed disingenuous. I have no conflicts of interest. I don't think MAPS did everything right. I also think your/psymposia attack is not objective. Our focus is seekers who need safe access to these substances with #ethical facilitators - it helped me!

Lumara (lumara.life) is rethinking what it means to grow.
