This draws the line for me. No to mobile lecterns. A true lectern has more moral integrity. I would, however, like to see new lecterns that have buttons for different sound effects like”yeah” and “Boo” and “Clap” and “siren” etc. Wouldn’t that be fun?

I was thinking about the idea of giving a Lectern to the Yankees. That way they can go anywhere, stand behind the Lectern, and tell us exactly what the hell happened!!

I hope that this praise includes a little bit of me too. I’ve been working hard in the trenches trying to help the mighty Lectern to be honored for what it is. It’s a Lectern people not a Podium. What is the plural of Podium? LECTERNS!
