Cheers - such a lightweight vibes approach from Biggar. The real reply to the ‘pride in WW2’ question is (apart from it all being sentimental) is that we also feel shame - but he couldn’t bring himself to express that.

I find it useful as an advanced search engine with additional rules about it not making stuff up and giving me all the sources that I can then look at.

For some reason, when GCs argued for years that they weren’t about removing rights, they didn’t caveat that with trans people not having any rights anyway.

I don’t believe people like this are progressive in every other way. They lack empathy and humanity as guiding principles.

I really can’t work out if hypocrisy is worse than self awareness. Are you dishonest or really ignorant? Whatever your limitations, they’re not worth a single penny of my money.

As if the betrayal of Labour’s history of campaigning for equality, suffrage and inclusion wasn’t dire enough, the smug, triumphalist messaging of this as a ‘compromise’ is downright insulting.

I think it’s a natural evolution of terfism tbh. Nobody is allowed to deviate from what they perceive as ‘correct’ in a way they cannot see/understand.
