Just got back from the most amazing & challenging week cycling in the Veneto region of Italy - toughest thing I've ever done for sure. I'll post a few pics while trying to recover from this adventure

Back in the Dolomites soon, it's going to be a big week of cycling (off road). 10,800mtrs of climbing in (hopefully) 5 days will be the most I've ever done. Looking forward to some good food & amazing scenery 🇮🇹

The other day while out dog walking I saw a mother fox with her cubs in the field next to where I was sunbathing while the cubs played. This morning a deer casually eating the crop - lovely to see 😊 (couldn't get a decent photo sorry)

Last 9km of Grappa done. Goal was to hold 3watts/kg all the way which I did. Quite pleased with that as I couldn't sustain that last year for 1hr. 3wks & I'll be there in person all be it on a mountain bike & off road 🇮🇹

Reading the local cycling club WhatsApp group messages, 32 messages later and it's all imploding in on itself thanks to 2 people who treated me terribly over the last 12 months * sits back & finally others are becoming aware of their behaviour.

Reading the local cycling club WhatsApp group messages, 32 messages later and it's all imploding in on itself thanks to 2 people who treated me terribly over the last 12 months * sits back & finally others are becoming aware of their behaviour.
Watched Rylan's & Rob's Gran Tour - the scene about Artimesia painting is particularly powerful. Highlights both female oppression (and abuse) but more importantly female strength - that so many men fear. What a woman & artist she was.
