I figured Luna was due for a shed as I've not seen her out of her hide all week. And evidently she needed to poo after I took the shed skin out. 😆

Gorgeous day today, so I just had to hit the trail after work. A lovely black snake greeted me early on, but then the nasty mosquitoes got die bites in later.

Always enjoy the WNC Nature Center... a lot of work has gone into them being able to reopen after Helene hit almost a year ago. Still much to be rebuilt (main entrance bridge is still half gone), but they are open and thriving. Go visit them!

First time going up Crowders Mountain. Next time, I need to remember to go left (clockwise) at the fork instead of right. This stairs were a bitch.

Forgot to post when I was on vacation last month. Mackinac Island was pretty cool. The rental we stayed in on Lake Huron was pretty awesome.

First time kayaking was super fun! The Eno River, Occoneechee River, and the Neuse River were awesome places for this beginner. Two Sisters Adventure Co. were really great.

Must be springtime, Luna has been out and about multiple times a day for several days now. She did this last year around this time. Looking for a mate. Bella randomly spends time watching Luna move around her tank.

Crazy wake-up storm at my parents'. Blew in fast and hard a little before 5:30am. Only one casualty of the wind this time... a small, already dead, ash tree. Fell partway across their driveway. Never a dull moment at their house.
