sanji and zoro are wearing summer clothes, standing on the kitchen, a display of fruits in front of Zoro. Sanji, while looking away, says "Marimo, cut up some fruit for the drinks, will you". Zoro replies with "Hmm...", reaching for his swords. Zoro throws the fruits up, unsheathing two swords and cutting them all in a single slash. the fruits are all cut unevenly, their skin still on and dripping on the counter space. Sanji looks down horrified while Zoro stands nonchalantly, pinky up his nose. Sanji strangles Zoro with his hands, a manic look of anger in his face, while Zoro tries to fight him off by grabbing his wrist and hair. Zoro asks "What happened to fighting with your hands, you bastard." while sanji replies "I'm not fighting you, I'm KILLING YOU."

Sanji‘s legs finally hit the water, "So cold!" Zoro snorts at him, "snrk!" 2. Sanji watches Zoro disappear into the water with a "PLOP!" Sanji looks at him like he’s crazy. 3. Zoro emerges from the water with a wild smile he splashes ocean water everywhere. "Feels nice once you get used to it!" 4. Zoro grabs Sanji‘s arms and brings him close to him "C'm'ere (Come here shorted)". Sanji splashes as he treads the water "splash splash". Zorro looks sturdy, and Sanji looks timid. 5. Zoro and Sanji continue holding hands and they submerge themselves in the ocean. Just bubbles, foam, water, and the two of them smiling. 6. Zoro and Sanji raise out of the water splashing everywhere. They’re still holding hands. Sanji is leaning on Zoro shoulder, and Zoro is holding him back. They both look blissful. 4 Panel comic 1. Sanji and Zoro hold each other wet with ocean water. 2. They kiss with tongues, dripping. 3. Sanji looks finally happy, Zoro is smiling back. 4. The camera cuts to a wide shot of the beach, there are people nearby, but they don't matter in this special moment. Sanji raises his hands and erupts into giggles and shouting, "hehehe... 19Zoro falters, music notes filling the room around them. After a moment he looks down but says "Okay", taking 40Sanji's extended hand. He is waltzed away to reveal 19Sanji behind them gripping his head in his hands, staring at the floor in shock. "Okay this can't be happening," he mutters, "It literally can't be happening, is Zoro under some kind of spell? Is there something in the 'sand'? Or am I going crazy - is this whole room a setup and this Zoro is fake too - all an illusion to make me drop my guard-" He turns and smacks directly into 40Zoro's broad chest with an "oof". 40Zoro, unfazed, simply looks down at him with a flat expression before offering his own hand. 19Sanji stares up at him like a miserably confused little insect, metaphorically dwarfed by the man's imposing figure. A single music note bounces off the floor behind him. 19Sanji, shellshocked, allows himself to be danced away by 40Zoro, who has to look at his own feet to do so. 19Zoro is also staring squarely at his own feet, nervous, as 40Sanji waltzes him around the room. 40Sanji diverts his attention to the 3 swords at his waist. "Let's see… Wado, obviously… Sandai Kitetsu, and… Wow, is that Yubashiri? Goodness. We are young." 19Z, surprised: "You… You know their names? Learned them, I mean?" 40S: "Sure, always. Seemed rude not to. They were like… 'Colleagues' fighting with me alongside you. Plus, they always reminded me of this one chef's knife, the long whippy one. You know?" 19Z, glancing up from their feet: "Yeah, uh, your boning knife, right? Or wait, do you mean your maguro bouchou?" 40Sanji regards him fondly for a moment before bowing his head. 40S, quietly: "See? You remember my colleagues, too." They both pause with 40Sanji raising one of their arms as the music continues before 40Sanji prompts "Spin, Zoro." 19Z, turning: "Oh right, yes." 19Sanji watches as 19Zoro now attempts to spin 40Sanji, though he can't hear what they're saying. He turns away with a decisively plain look. "Well, that settles it. Zoro's a deep fake, this is a nefarious trap, and it's up to me to break out of here and save [extra emphasis] Nami & Robin." 40Z, unimpressed: "You still saying that?" 19S, ignoring him despite continuing to dance with him: "Shut up, marine boy. I've tangled with shape-shifting devil fruit eaters before." He recalls Bon Clay from Alabasta with a wink, "Moi?" 40Z: "You really can't recognise me?" 19Sanji finally acknowledges him with a smirk. "Ha! Please. As if the real Zoro would ever become this whipped." He's sure to put an extra smarmy pop on the 'P' sound. 40Zoro stares blankly down at him before taking a long, patient breath, his shoulders sagging along with his eyebrows. "Sure didn't miss this," he says.

Someone asked about this comic and I remembered I still needed to post it here! Just a short one exploring how they figure out the differences between what frustrates them in their relationship. (1/5)
A simple black and white comic with thin lines and no grey tones featuring characters from One Piece. All panels throughout this thread are roughly the same width and height, though some are combined or split up. In the first of these two panels, Sanji is walking along a beach and smoothing down his hair, his simple suit and tie looking rumpled. He jabs his thumb over his shoulder at Brook, who is saluting, and Chopper, who looks indignant. Someone yells, "Oh, Sanji!! You're okay!!" Sanji: "Yeah, no thanks to THESE bozos." Chopper: "Hey, I helped!!" Brook: "I did not!" The next panel shows Luffy waving with a grin from the deck of the Thousand Sunny. Nami reads a map nearby while Zoro vaults over the railing back towards the beach with a serious expression. Luffy: "Haha, whatever!" Sanji (offscreen): "Don't 'whatever' me-" Luffy: "Did those illusions give you guys trouble too?" Nami: "Log pose is nearly- ... ?" Sanji has finished smoothing his hair and is fixing his tie. Zoro has landed on the beach and is stomping towards Sanji, who watches him with mild confusion. Sanji: "Yeah, that Devil Fruit user was a real piece of work... uh... Made Chopper think he'd lost his ability to talk to us, and made Brook think he was a ghost... And... uh... I saw old man Zeff and the guys from the Baratie... um... Being... held hostage- Marimo, it's me!!" As Zoro gets closer and Sanji can see that he looks angry, he whips one of his legs up ready to kick, his arms in front of him defensively. "Cool your jets!!" He continues, "Whatever I did to you was an illusion so don't make me really kick your ass-" Zoro reaches Sanji and he gives up on trying to reason with him, saying "Okay FINE but could you at least let me wash my face before we throw down-" But his assumption is interrupted when, instead of attacking him, Zoro grabs him into a tight hug, right arm behind his back, left arm over his shoulder, head buried into his neck. Sanji is wincing, still expecting a physical altercation, one finger extended asking for a time-out. Sanji pauses as he twigs to his current situation, his arms and leg drooping but not fully dropping, regarding Zoro's face in his periphery (who has not let him go) with wide eyes. Brook ushers Chopper away towards the Sunny with a pleasant smile, saying "We'll m eet you later at the ship." Sanji, still being held tightly by Zoro, falters, unsure whether to hold him back, but simply says "Bwuh... Oh... kay." Sanji leads Zoro into the densely forested area just inland from the beach, the two of them silhouetted between the thick trees. Sanji's cutout appears to be struggling while Zoro's still has not let him go, now hanging around his waist. Sanji: "Marimo... Let go already, we're alone now- Marimo! Shit-for-brains... World's worst swordsman- Zoro!! C'mon...!"
