This reminds me of a cake I'd ordered to celebrate my husbeast's 2nd "immigration-iversary" in 2016. We'd been married for TWO YEARS by the time his marriage visa was approved. The first 2 YEARS of our marriage were spent an ocean apart because the US immigration system is fucked up. Anyways, Cake!

Someone please tell Shadow that I do not have eyes down by my feet. I do not wish to kick my boy but he refuses to stay on any of the perches, towers, couches, or other places that would make sense for a damaged little boy to rest. No, he must be exactly where my foot is! #CatsOfBlueSky #Void

Oo! Oo! I know this bird! This is a Brewer's Blackbird. I used Merlin from @birdsoftheworld.bsky.social on a recent road trip to identify this funny character munching a cheetos puff!

It's #BeansTuesday! It's not... I made that up. But have some close-up beautiful (toe)bean footage. Look at that crop of bean sprouts! And yes... He DOES lose treats in there from time to time and will hold his paw against his face trying to get them!

Sigh of relief?! Probably more like they threw a party and lit a bunch of candles for continued success!! I hope they continue to unwind and settle into themselves. This guy did so much changing in the first year we had him!

Having #ADHD and being creative means my craft space often gets overwhelmed. I've lived with my crafting space as unusable for several months and finally made some headway! I even have a before/after comparison this time!

This took a little over an hour w/ a "Clean w/ me" video on YT.
Before: photo of a cluttered desk, overflowing with different craft supplies, boxes, and crafting tools. None of the table's surface is visible. After: the same desk from the before photo but markedly cleaner with many of the tools put away, trash thrown away, and supplies in their proper places. There is still some clutter yet to be sorted but the tabletop is now visible.

Shadow "helped" us make the bed this weekend. I'm sure he'd like to "help" cheer you up in a similar manner (resting all 10 pounds of fluff on the most inopportune space, preventing you from going anywhere/doing anything). It's his speciality!

These are the answers available to me while filling out a health questionnaire for an upcoming allergy appointment. I'm not even particularly upset about the fact that I'm being asked about my reproductive status by my allergy doctor. I had a #hysterectomy. It doesn't matter what I WANT ANYMORE!
