Hello~! My name's Mimosa! She/Her 🏳️‍⚧️ I'm a multimedia artist who specializes in pixel art, vector art, and board game design. COMISSIONS OPEN: ko-fi.com/iamthedudette.com
Makes a lot of sense, I'm the inverse. Primarily a pixel artist with a good amount of experience in vector work. (Though I haven't been able to do any for a long while cause I can't/won't afford adobe illustrator) I did these!

I like your art a lot! I can see you clearly but a lot of work into it, and that's epic!!! It reminds me a lot of my early art. (Which personally *I* think is a good thing. >:3)

Gosh- Both are so pretty!!! I have a huge appreciation for both pixel art AND vector art style work. (Though technically I don't think that's vector art, looks a lot like it though.)

Yeah I think this looks great! You should totally finish it~! I could give advice on anatomy or specific stuff like how to make the lines all look nice, but I think it would be more fun for you to just have at it.

Oh! You gotta scale up your pixel art to look clean on non-pixel art focused websites. Most pixel art applications have an option to scale your art up by different percentages~! Here's an example:

Overall though, I think you're doing a great job! Your shapes are good, and this would look great in a dingy classroom. Great work!

I added some rust too since that gives a good opportunity to add visual interest. Now I realize you were more so going for a plastic chair, so I would 100% focus on more dents and scratches. I'd also be cautious with your dithering, as in a sprite so small, it can make it a bit messy.

So when I'm thinking moldy and ruined, I'm thinking of what kind of damage will show well and have good contrast against the rest of the chair. A lot of your colors are pretty similar in value and color, and since it lacks an outline it's hard to tell things apart. Contrast is everything.

Hey love I think you aren't upscaling your drawings before posting them. Assuming you're using aseprite, then when hitting "export" you can save a version for both 1:1 and 10:1 sizing that's a less blurry.
