I got mine a few days ago, and am somehow forcing myself to wait until January 1st to read one entry every day for the entirety of 2026.
this book comes out on Tuesday and I'm proud of it -- I think it's a good read. admittedly, it has fewer pornographic film titles in it than "Devil House" did, but that's a high bar to clear. buy a copy at your local or get it here: thisyearbook.com

I’m confused about this year’s Continental Classic. The Continental Championship is unified with the International Championship. So does the winner get the Unified Championship, or do they get the Continental Championship and the International Title comes back as a separate title also?

I know the world in general is a dumpster fire right now…but sometimes you see things like a Silent Bob Cosplayer do a dance to the “Fifteen Bucks, Little Man” song with @MW_THEOPERATOR and @MW_Assassins singing, and you realize maybe we’re not on the ABSOLUTELY worst timeline.

I love a champion that I feel proud to support, but also love storytelling. With that in mind, I’m kind of hoping Joe’s actions have caused Hangman to regress to the more vengeful, destructive, and violent version of himself, and he loses the title because of it. It seems if a movie reaches a certain level of success, the Obligatory Sequel™️ is inevitable. And it’s often “okay,” but doesn’t quite capture the true spirit of the original.

Sunday Scaries are always a thing for me, but are always the absolute WORST after a super fun emotionally boosting event.
Having to go back and exist in the day-to-day while the world is on fire and people I love are in danger feels so meaningless and stupid.

Saw Spider-Man 3 (2007) AKA Emo Spidey AKA Panic! At The Bugle with Mrs. Mimosa at the theater tonight.
That was certainly a movie. It was hard to describe to my wife, who wasn’t a fan of the world of comics until the MCU boom, what a wet fart that film’s version of Venom was.
