Explication of ii) Reflexive causation is the kind of causation/explanation wherein the the explanatory dependence is circular. Things like God creating himself (obviously not the same thing, since this is creatio ex nihilo, but this is the same type of causation)

(ii) In order for something to be free, no sufficient cause can be explanatorily anterior to it (that's not to say that there must be no antecedent cause, it just must not be sufficient)

Libertarian free will requires the following
i.) Probabilistic causation
ii.) Reflexive causation
(i) Alone does not suffice, a system being random does not make it free. Probabilistic causation is a necessary, but not sufficient criterion for free will.
