I only saw her after Golden in one of the crossover dungeon crawlers and I definitely noticed it there, but when the cast is that large it made sense to have each character represented by a single defining trait. Sad to hear that was a trend that was going on at that time for my favorite character.

Super Mario 3D Land was the first game that impressed me with the 3D gimmick by hiding a collectible in a room of blocks that could only be found by turning on the effect and seeing 1 block was in the foreground. Not an effect that I used often, but was impressive when studios actually used it.
