Skip it. It's a dreadful remake of a fabulous movie from 1943 called The More the Merrier, which is very funny and has what's universally acclaimed as one of the sexiest kissing scenes in the history of film.

I was thinking it's a crucifixion, but you're exactly right. It's that too. Also, Denham's delivery of that last line comes with a very uncomfortable "I'm covering my ass" little smile.
