but others were extremely lacking. i think it’s a great standalone piece of media, but s2 doesn’t live up to the legacy/precedent set by s1 in terms of faithfully adapting the source material. bella ramsey forever tho <3

now, i don’t HATE s2. but i didn’t enjoy it nearly as much - the writing felt significantly worse, at some points quite frankly just lazy. i often wish i’d been able to see it without watching the second game, but here we are. some moments were executed perfectly-
