UPDATE: Spoke to Tom, who you may have met while in the shop. He is sorting it. He is also a king amongst men and was super-nice on the phone.

Next time I'm in Birmingham for work I will be making a point of going to Derby (never been before!!) and purchasing from their store. So happy!

😂
You are naughty.

You, sir, are a king among men. I will call them in the morning.

If the printers screwed up, then @comicstitan.bsky.social should be making them print more. I would go out and buy an ADDITIONAL copy gladly if it meant getting that cover too, but I can't as nowhere in the UK is showing stock.

No-one is saying it's "more important", but some of us have had this on pre-order for f- knows how long now. And part of the reason was to have the cover by Liam. I collect his stuff where I can, and @comicstitan.bsky.social are a joke if they think this is acceptable.

If we all stay silent and don't point out when people are being (all too easily) manipulated thickos, what chance is there that they'll ever stop?

Could it be that he simply forgot? If I was feeling charitable I would say yes, but as it was such an exciting prospect I am seriously dubious.

As I understand it, the Chairman of GB Energy said it would eventually create 1000 jobs. This was put to Shanks, along with the point that it had created 13 jobs.
He said he wasn't aware, but also said he wasn't aware of any such pledge for 1000.
But he was at the select committee where it was said.

That said, I'm annoyed with your lot today too. This GB Energy thing is a farce, and Michael Shanks has directly lied about the situation and about what was promised.
As someone who works in that sector I am livid about this "project".

True. I did buy a few of the forum comics a few years ago though - just as a novelty I suppose.
It was at the same time as I bought that Italian Dark Guard TPB, which I think you put me on to!

Fair shout. As a) a supporter of indy and b) someone who would rejoin the EU, I agree with you on this one.
October 20, 2025 at 9:16 AM
How's this going then?
October 20, 2025 at 9:13 AM
I think they reused a Battle-Tide cover for this one, John!

Haha, exactly!

I've checked all the other comics Simon Williams drew at the time and I'm afraid this looks like the only other one to feature DH.

Cool! It's another Spectacular Spider-Man Adventures. Number 141.

That mean he canonically reformed himself after that crappy Civil War "death". I'd missed seeing him in Revolutionary War - thanks for this!

I'd love Marvel Legends figures of all the Marvel UK stuff. There are some cool customs out there, but official ones would be great.

The customs here for Dragon, Doctor Necker, etc. are brilliant.

The new ROM Marvel Legends figure is pretty good.

I LOVE the art in this UK strips. I'd really like it if Marvel did collections of them they way they did with the UK Star Wars Omnibus (I don't think they've been fully collected, likewise the Hulk stuff).
It's still sad that Thunderclap's only return in comics was in ignominy in Civil War.
