The issue is that Trump supporters are too ideologically captured to engage with; their "alternative facts" completely differ from ours. Any pointing out that Trump is hurting our alliances is met with "yep, that's based and awesome," and any criticism is met with "you just have TDS." Can't win.

I really hope you don't wash your clothes by hand. You don't need AI, it's called a washing machine. We even have these phenomenal machines called "vacuums" that save you time when cleaning your house.

- start and end the year gainfully employed in my field

Doesn't mean that we shouldn't improve cross-country public transportation, but the bigger and more meaningful fish to fry are reducing car-dependency intra-city.

NYC-LA is the same distance is Lisbon-Moscow. There is a two-seat train ride connecting the former, I don't even know if it's possible on the latter.

These pics? I'm not saying anything about them. If they're proud of their work, they should proudly show their pictures!

You can do it yourself. Used panels can be found everywhere in industrial amounts (I looked on eBay myself), they ship by freight and the rest of the pieces are trivially acquired.

Why? I don't want Americans working in steel foundries and base good manufacturing plants. We should be taking the resources from other countries and making cool stuff (e.g. cars, batteries, homes). Leave the low-level stuff to other countries that need it to industrialize.
