I decided to keep their scan of the rush film print as it it, but decided to add a bloom and a 16:9 aspect ratio to somewhat match what we see in the final product.

And, after doing this, I've finally realised that back then the glowing effects are laid separately and projected as overlays.

That's interesting. Looks like I'm not the only one with the same concept with engines getting hit by lightning.
