This book was such a surprise and full of complex themes. Both characters come from two completely different worlds and deal with different struggles that have specific nuances that the other doesn't understand.

So what I have learned...either my instincts suck or Ben Alderson is AMAZING at writing some plot twists. It could also be a combination of both.

If you are looking for a suspenseful fantasy story that is filled with romantic tension and magic but make it gay? This is absolutely the way to go!
