I think everyone believes in free speech in the theoretical sense. However, most people don't actually follow through with it. Left, right or center. It's just too easy to want to silence people you disagree with. Whether it's nazis or groomers, using each side's terms.

The problem is the left doesn't believe it, either. Free speech is optional to both parties. The second amendment doesn't exist to the left. The fifth doesn't exist to the right. The General Welfare has been abandoned. We need to get tough and be bold. Snowflakes all around preventing discussion.

Worrying is kind of a waste of time. Just do your work. If he takes away funding, find another job. Sitting around worrying or moaning will not help you or anyone. This is a time to work so he doesn't destroy our communities.

What pisses me off is when I am trying something new and insurance demands, they send me 90 pills. Why? What if it doesn't work or if we need to increase the dose?

If anything, recent changes with corporations and government have made me want guns. I used to think we wouldn't need the Second Amendment, but I just don't trust Homan or Trump to not raid my house for disagreeing.

I'm not saying leaving the WHO was a good idea. Just doubting that leaving the WHO = inadequate pandemic response. Other avenues existed without it. Its still a good org.

Has the WHO actually ever helped the US or is it just us providing help for other countries? I thought our problems were primarily dealt with by the CDC.

I think the problem you identified is they don't read. Text-based news often provides 10x more information than video. This makes sense since videos take more time to produce and often are given time limits to wrap it up.

I have a hard time believing those false claims are not either schizophrenia online or state actors trying to spread misinformation. I guess it could also be trolls. The spread is with bots or gullibles.
