Thrilled to be the special guest performer at Off the Chest's birthday event this October! This is my first time on a proper line-up at a poetry event and I couldn't be more excited.

Completely devoured the audiobook of @adelewalton.bsky.social's 'Logging Off: The Human Cost of our Digital World.'

A personal yet thoroughly researched and accessible look at growing up with social media, big tech, gen-AI, workers rights, and more. Felt equally terrifying and galvanising 📚

Performed my writing for the first time very recently at an Off the Chest open mic!

Despite the trembling notebook, I am really so proud of this and can’t wait to do more and build my confidence🫰🏼🎤

I visited the Aesop Free Queer Library on my lunch and had such lovely conversations in the queue!

They had so many exciting titles, it was a difficult task to choose my book, but excited to have walked away with a hardback of Ocean Vuong's The Emperor of Gladness 📚

Had the most gorgeous evening at Bard Books celebrating four authors and their debut novels, hearing more about their processes and inspirations was so energising 📚

Congratulations Xenobe Purvis, Gabriel Flynn, Lisa Smith, and Gurnaik Johal!

🌎 Had a great time today exploring @earthfest.bsky.social

Events like these are so energising and crucial to combat the oft paralysing anxiety that comes with fighting for climate justice.

Earth Fest is still on tomorrow ft. an expo, panels, workshops and music – and it's FREE!

"We live in capitalism, its power seems inescapable — but then, so did the divine right of kings. Any human power can be resisted and changed by human beings. Resistance and change often begin in art. Very often in our art, the art of words."
