I personally think so, but your milage may vary. It probably depends whether the game clicks for you and how into BSG you are...

The plus side is that it's on steep discount until it disappears, so consider nabbing it.

Speaking from the experience of having married a RCT player, I fear for the people around you.

Special forth category. Rare breed, well done.

I omitted it for brevity, but essentially that's the same category as 'Rollercoaster Tycoon' (but with less intentional mass homicide and more union breaking).

I can only speak to my experience of it, but it actually was not difficult to get running at all. Pretty sure the only thing I did was a No-CD patch.

I always felt that their previous missile-age sim, 'Cold Waters', frustratingly hinted at complex systems happening above the water, and you never really got to see them as you were stuck with the limited information your submarine had access to. 'Sea Power' feels like a unveiling of those systems.

What that means is that you can dive into it without having to read a 200 page manual like you did with the old
Sonalysts sims from the mid-2000s. It's still punishingly difficult in places, but it feels like that because of you making mistakes rather than battling the controls or camera.

Yeah, the basic mechancs are clearly System Shock inspired, although it's actually more of an adventure game than it's surface aesthetics would lead you to believe.
They did begin development on a First Contact game using the same engine (I think), but it never released.
