Outside of that, the movie was… fine. Some parts dragged, but I was never outright bored. The story kept me engaged, even if some moments felt silly or off. But after Endgame, No Way Home, and Deadpool & Wolverine, I expected more. Maybe that’s a me problem.

3) It’s not about rejecting change. I get that heroes evolve. But something about the way the movie frames Sam in the role didn’t click. It felt like I was watching something else. not the next chapter of Captain America.

2) I can’t fully wrap my head around Sam Wilson as Captain America. He just doesn’t feel like Cap to me, and I don’t even know what that means.

It took me a bit to dig through the article, and while I still disagree with the idea that ‘white people need to get their act together,’ it’s clear that bias definitely plays a role in this. Thanks for sharing the info. it gave me a lot to think about.
