I’m fuming!

5/ think about it
- Project 2025
- The supreme court ruling on presidential immunity
- Big tech’s own interests and hate of the left

Based on all this my prediction is that by the end of the 4th year Trump is going to be named a Supreme leader of the Empire of USA.

4/ the only reason i can think of why Meta (and Amazon and other big tech) would do this is that Trump and Elon has convinced them that the last election were the last democratic elections in the US. That they can make Trump an authoritative ruler same as Russia’s Putin.

3/ I truly believe after the shitshow that his government is going to be, the democrats will come. So why do these changes for 4 years? Well i’ll tell you what i think although it’s wild and borders on conspiracy theory. So here it goes

2/ what i wonder is why would Meta do this? They must see the shitshow the Twitter has become. They also wouldn’t so so many significant operational and reputation damaging changes on a whim of recent political climate. Trumps here for 4 years.

Wondering as well

I’ve been using both. The fact that Threads is owned by Meta and that this place doesn’t have algorithm and is more free makes me prefer BlueSky
