Made the drive down to the National Museum of the Marine Corps today. First time there since 2011. They’ve made/expandedan amazing section about Iraq and Afghanistan. Took me a bit but I found the bricks for my dad and I.

Took the kids to the local Memorial Day ceremony and was pleasantly surprised by the speakers and the attendance level. @elissaslotkin.bsky.social gave very thoughtful and timely remarks while also highlighting a friend who did not come home from Iraq.
