LOVE this series. The smut is smutting, the plot is plotting, the author leaves me traumatized and horny in equal measure, so good. My only complaint is how the publisher has chosen to break things up. There were definitely a few volumes that should have been longer and cut off at different chapters

Not much substance yet, but has potential. Art is beautiful, but suffers from lightsaber treatment (makes a big deal about the top’s dick being beaded, but can’t see it because it’s a white column). The bit of world building looks interesting, but so far just smut in what’s been published in English

Had potential, but needed more time to cook. The world & concept were super interesting, but the characters’ relationships were under developed and forced. Not enough build up of why they cared about each other. Also, completely smutless. Overall, meh. This author’s other works are much better.

A fun modern setting danmei. I’ve found I prefer Xianxia/Wuxia setting, but this was still a fun read. The navigation of the various relationships was entertaining & the smut was good. Though, I was thrown off by the strong assignment of gender roles based on a character being a top or a bottom

Peak office romance for me. The smut is smutting, the characters are great, the art feels unique, and the comedy is a treat. I just wish that Tokyopop would actually publish the 5th volume.

I love this series. I watched the anime first then picked up the manga so that I could read the rest of the story. Admittedly, it gets pretty repetitive, but I still enjoy every volume.

This was actually the first physical BL I ever bought. I did so purely because of the ridiculous name and I do not regret it in the least. I laughed, I was erect, it was all I expected it to be. Picked it up around the same time I watched the Keijo!!! Anime and I wish it could get the same treatment

Super wholesome and adorable story with (what I consider) light smut thrown in throughout. Normally, I like my stories with some grit, but this was super good

This was my first dip into the omegaverse. I liked aspects of this, but found Hye-Sung (the omega) to be a deeply unlikable character. It did serve as a good intro to the omegaverse, but I have read much better works in the genre since then.

Wasn’t sure what to expect on this one, but I was blown away by it. The art is great, the world is interesting, the smut good, and it was a surprisingly deep examination of what it means to be human. Definitely far better than I expected and I’m very glad I picked it up.

Started this one because I had just finished watching Dakaichi and thought it had a similar premise. But, this is much more tender than Dakaichi. Has great smut while also managing to examine some interesting relationship issues

One of the series I started earlier in my BL exploration and, honestly, I love it. Though it is an isekai, I don’t hold that against it. Might be due to the fact that it actually addresses what happens with the world that was left behind. Surprising depth to the world building too

Another extremely problematic one that, again, I can’t seem to put down. The intrigue is good and how the author writes the characters’ evolving (or degenerating) development is good. The smut scenes are super visceral, also largely SA, so be warned.

Definitely one of the darkest things I’ve read. Though, unsurprising, when the synopsis is “stalkers finds out his fixation is a serial killer.” I genuinely don’t know if I can say that I enjoyed this one, but I certainly found it compelling.

Love the heavy combative flirtation and Spy vs Spy energy of this one. Another one with great banter and the characters trying to one up each other, neither quite able to fully maintain the upper hand. Again, a lack of smut, but still very good

Stupidly funny and incredibly self aware. Loved that it poked fun at all the tropes of the genre and never takes itself seriously. Would have preferred if it was 18+, but I’m a perv that wants smut in everything. Still, very entertaining read.

Not gonna lie, very problematic. Though, at the same time I could not put it down. Love me a mafia type story, genuinely humorous parts throughout. But, the romantic relationship begins with 🍇. So, steer clear if that is a no go for you.

Normally low smut is a negative for me, but I loved this story. The dynamic between the two main characters was so compelling and the evolution of their interactions with each other was so well done. The banter in this series was very entertaining

Probably would have liked this more if I had read it before so many other danmei. It is a good read, good humor & smut. But, I don’t think the story was served by being an isekai. Though, tbf, I find isekai overdone & think those stories would be improved by just being fantasy, wuxia, or xanxia.

A masterpiece. Cannot put it down. True power couple, enemies to lovers in such a feral way. The smut is fantastic and the political/court intrigue is engrossing.

Probably my favorite danmei story. Inspired me to learn the guqin (I’m terrible). The intrigue, love, action, and drama are all fantastic. Though I did find the jumping back and forth between past and present a little jarring. Wish there had been smut throughout, but the side story smut was great
