It's a cute thread, definitely heartwarming.

Though I do understand being angry that you're not orange. C'mon man, Jim's right, you should be orange just like him. ;P

Well you sure aren't going to start counting the hammers!

Such swordless behavior, TBH.
November 23, 2025 at 6:53 AM
Wait, what's going on...?

How does DQ2 do running away?

For instance, with Congress, the Senate needs to just be nationwide elections, and probably needs at least 200 members. House of Representatives members are voted state-wide, with a minimum of 10 reps per state. Ranked choice voting too.

Liquid democracy is the best system to implement once the social and technical hurdles are overcome. Second best is interactive representation, where representatives get voting power equal to the votes they get. And all this stuff about voting districts, electoral college, etc needs to go away.

I am unsure about the fairness for people whose personal creations lead to a total wealth beyond the cap - think like Stephen King's books or whatever. Would the government just take a percentage? Would individual works (starting with the oldest) go into the public domain?
November 15, 2025 at 5:22 AM
Personally, I think it should be a maximum of $1 million in yearly income, and $10 million in total wealth. And that's after really punitive income taxes, which I'd put at like... 10% for every $100k in income until you hit 90% at $900k.

Which article is this one? I can't seem to find it.

Yeah, it's tough for people to realize the difference between explanations and excuses.

I can certainly see your reasoning with Grubba, it does make me feel a bit more sympathetic for him.

What's the name...?

(I am unsure if I am missing the joke that it doesn't exist.)
November 15, 2025 at 4:28 AM
What do you like about it?
November 14, 2025 at 6:26 AM
Oh, and her name's Millenia Antares... to whatever extent that matters. xD
November 12, 2025 at 3:33 AM
More images, from variant incarnations of her. I prefer the blue palette.

Sounds like a line that a therapist in @swordscomic.bsky.social would say.

Personally I'm sick of the filibuster. IF the system needs a supermajority, then the supermajority should be at the "pass a bill" stage, not the "end debate and vote" stage.

As intentionally designed, for better and, usually, worse.

Not the sharpest sword in the armory, is he? ;P
