capping off my es2 runs as nakalim and this game was so funny like
even with the amount of info a nakalim run gets at the start of a round i also somehow managed to corner half the game before anyone could get anything rolling combined with stupid lucky pirate spawns

so after checking out what difficulty levels on endless space 2 did past normal, turns out that if you get a nice quiet start as hissho you can snowball immensely
(difficulty levels give FIDSI bonuses to cpu empires, and more aggressive play depending on its perceived power compared to you)

so i did a relatively quick wonder build with horatio and managed to pick up cravers AND sowers close by so that i could literally just un-fuck the craver systems by sheer merit of existing on them
also for reference: horatio starts with +2 approval on hot planets, and +3 food.

incredibly funny thing happened on my UE run where my game bugged out for two turns at turn 250 where literally nothing happened that fixed itself when i saved and reloaded and apparently it reflected in the final score
