Yes, you can take pics of the stars from the city!

I'm not sure if I bumped focus, or the lens fogged up, but either way, it's not quite in focus. I could play the perfectionist (as I have often done) and never show the image, but even if imperfect, I still think this is beautiful.

Mt Rainier in the Moonlight

Mt Adams reflected in Tahklakh Lake with lenticular cloud.

There were some clouds in the sky, but I was there, so I set up a time lapse to shoot all night. The nighttime lenticuar cloud was a pleasant surprise.
