To cut through the noise, our geo-economics team convened global investor dialogues and conducted international polling ahead of COP30 in Brazil. The goal: understand how investors are really thinking about climate risk—and how they’re talking about it in a polarized environment.

As the global economy moves into the Age of Adaptation, early movers are positioning their portfolios to reduce downside risk and capture upside across energy systems, infrastructure, nature, food systems, and resilience.

As the region shifts into long-term rebuilding, the financial gap between committed recovery dollars and the cost to rebuild remains enormous.

LA could be a test case for this new bottom-up approach and for the use of financial innovations that create “blended finance” models for recovery.
