OK i fixed it (tentative)

Sunk cost fallacy in effect here too. I've given FFXIV 1/3 of my life and I don't want to give up on it despite not having that much fun with it anymore. bleh

It's just that throughout Endwalker I was consistently hitting 70-90 without really trying, but in Dawntrail that's slipped to 20-40 and even with looking at optimization guides and "fixing" my rotation... that range has increased to like 30-50. Feels miserable.

Tural seems to be designated for side stories (Society quests/Alliance questline) and honestly I'm fine with that because I think the Turali stuff was the low point of DT's story. I HATED that "save the rronnek" segment with Koana in 7.1 I just wanted to go back to interesting Alexandria immediately

7.2-7.3 really does a good job of ending the DT story on a strong note. Truly is Stormblood again.
