More of psychological benefit than physical? It looks pretty flimsy and at only 6lbs, difficult to envisage it affording too much additional protection. But every little helps, I guess (perhaps).

He can’t keep making big mistakes without consequences to his position as no.1, imho. He’s obviously not suddenly a bad ‘keeper, but he’s been erratic for too much of this season. I think Ramsdale needs to be given his chance.
