I think a black woman who has had to endure a corrupt liar and bigot like Jim Abbott as a Governor for most of her adult life can say whatever she wants about him. What's worse, the harm he has done to black people and women in Texas? Or mild joke about him in a wheelchair? This isn't hard.

You've talked about Americans not being in the streets enough. I agree its not enough but the media is giving a distorted picture of how active we are. This is encouraging.

Graeme Wood wants you to think that Luigi Mangione shot Brian Thompson because Mangione was a goon with bad politics, that the real problem is PEOPLE not the healthcare system. I hope Atlantic subscribers like the taste of leather, because there's a whole lot of bootlicking going on in their rag.
