I think it’s a recognition that the origin movie structure is now so familiar that if you can’t make it extra extra novel then just establish the bare bones and bring more context in later in the film as needed. Or in the words of the band Tripod re: King Kong “Get to the F-ing monkey!”

Exactly. The problem with a character like Trump is that because there’s already an astounding degree of weird and disturbing deeds, it invites grifters to shamelessly make up their own evidence free claims to cash in. If the headline is Trump kicks puppy that’s very plausible but show me the tape.
