As far as I know, colours in reminder text do not count. Same with extort, the reminder text which shows hybrid white/black doesn’t make a card white/black. So still a dimir commander.

Chi has felt worse for a while, the meta just doesn’t support him. Although open decklist tournament play might have affected his winrate since they know to play around it.

Speed or Diamondback are both good. To be honest, it feels like the weakest link and I was scratching my head a little at the inclusion. I played a similar deck a couple of seasons ago and I think that slot was Esme which I think might be better.
