I just want to remain grateful and know I will show up when I can. Hope people don’t hold it against me, but ultimately I have bills to pay and things I want to achieve, and this job that takes me away makes it all possible.

It’s all love.

I enjoy travelling for work, experiencing new parts of the country. It’s all I’ve ever wanted. And I’m so lucky to have fallen in love with the most incredible person on this planet who not only respects that, but encourages it. It’s tough to leave home but that makes it all just a lil easier.

It is a personal GOTY contender for me, I just love Donkey Kong so much, Pauline is adorable, I love their animations together. Controls are snappy and intuitive and the level design is big, but not too big. I got emotional when I saw Cranky, and I cannot wait to see Diddy and Dixie.

You steal attention from actual human artists and perpetuate the idea that AI is the future and it will do our jobs for us, like we won’t still have to pay thousands of dollars every month to barely survive, but immigrants are the problem. Fuck, man I just can’t believe this is the world we live in.

So while bitching about jobs getting stolen you would never do, you sit and ask ChatGPT to write songs for you so you feel creative for the first time in your miserable life. You want to feel like you did something, instead of actively making the world a better place you steal yourself. Ironic.

To claim that they’re “stealing jobs” from legal Americans is complete bullshit, because most of those people would never do those jobs in the first place, wouldn’t consider it at all, possibly because they see it as lesser than or it doesn’t pay enough, but it still has to get done.

From my experience alone, every massive show I have EVER worked, who is cleaning up afterwards? Cleaning the restrooms and generally are maintenance? It’s definitely not white people, and the same could be said for a lot of manual labor/construction in every major city. These people work so hard.
