They don’t have to like it I guess. That Brewers fans are actually mad at Craig Counsell for leaving is so foreign to how I think and confusing but sure they can whatever they want. I’m a Mets fan I’m not mad at Zack Wheeler for going to the Phillies. Maybe that’s a bad analogy I don’t know

I think Counsell decided the Cubs would pay him a high salary. A big part of the story was Counsell wanting to reset the manager salary scale. It’s not personal

I’m willing to believe they’ve figured something out at least at the major league level but then wonder why some of their guys in the minors (Hancock, Dollard, McGraw, etc.) have all the normal issues
