Yes, there were a number of former NSE coaches that had their red stripe painted out in blue.

The first two coaches are part of a set of coaches that were used on the Hebridean service. They often turned up as part of other rakes of stock.

Well I have to say that given the choice between a 180 and a 220, it would be the 180 every time. (The only voyager I rate is the 221!)
I understand what they tried to do with the 180, it was just the execution that seemed to fail it. 🤷‍♂️

It’s sometimes quite deafening at York as they arrive, it seems to resonate throughout the station. It certainly turns heads and cause grimaces!

I agree Carl, as a 125mph capable unit, they remain a useful addition to the UK fleet. Whether there is the will to continue with a small aging fleet is to be seen. 🤷‍♂️
