This is a good example, other pro sports leagues should take note of NFL salary cap style! having a strict salary cap makes the sport competitive, I believe six new teams have made the playoffs as well. The sport remains competitive big and small markets, makes it more about the team then location.
It's always kind of a crapshoot once the NFL playoffs start.
I think this year might be even more interesting because IMO there aren't any super-dominant teams.
