I actually never read Jonathan Strange but Piranesi was so good!

Also if I'm reading something and I just picked up on something particularly meaningful I will set the text aside and chew on it, digest it and move the idea around considering it critically for a while before getting back to reading. I'm still thinking about parts of Piranesi lol

I think this is why it takes me so long to read anything, because this is how I read any text. Especially a textbook tho if something doesn't make sense I do the same thing, expect an answer and if/when I don't get it, look it up. That can take a while tho

Thanks! I typically like darker black tones but with the amount of out of focus I had going here I opted to keep it in softer greys, I think I also reduced contrast by one step in the print too

I know I took this in the spirit of the #shittycamerachallenge but I only had my Ektralite on me and boy do I wish I had a better camera this cemetery was beautiful

That's what gets me about AI, I'll talk about how it's bad for art in general and people that don't create things tell me "people that can't do art should be able to make things"... Like, what? It's a fundamental misunderstanding of the point of art
