an alien cat gremlin that loves to draw, animate, and be creative!
personally, the implementation of the AVIF file format is gonna save me from having cronic stress over my storage being consumed by gigabytes of PNG image sequences. AVIF files are hundreds of times smaller (in the kilobytes) and maintain visual fedelity to a tea!

eevee is nowhere near properly optimized. I've had instances where cycles was way faster at compiling and rendering. I am beyond confused.

even tho I always advocate for the use of blender, the program's in it's current state is not at the industry level in terms of 2d capabilities. lot's of updates are bringing it closer, but it's nowhere near where it needs to be to replace adobe animate.

I thought this project was gonna be another failure or trial at making something worthwhile...but I feel like it CAN actually be a reality now. Something that demonstrates what I'm capable of when I try my hardest at something.

for the first time in a long time I'm excited and sure it can work.

this is all for now, I am working on a new comic strip and it'll come out sometimes early next week. Have a good one guys and keep being creative!

money, time and effort into it.
Mind you, I am going pretty safe with the story as I'm still not a good writer and don't want to make something awful. However I'll make sure the story, for however basic it may be, has some interesting concepts and ideas in order to make it feel more distinguished.

I'm not gonna try to compete with Glitch, it is a futile endeavour, but I will put my soul into this project and make sure it's as good as it can be before proposing it to a company like theirs XD
I want this project to stand out and most importantly be fun.
That's why I'm putting this much-

idk WHEN the pilot for this project will be finished, heck idk if I'll show anything by the end of the year, but one thing I learned is that time is on my side and that I shouldn't rush what takes time, thus...I'll take things slow with this project and explore ideas as much as I can.
January 30, 2026 at 11:11 PM
I'm paying the price for being impatient right now, as I'm redoing everything (including character designs) after I've done all the work already. While this is a necessary procedure, it could've been avoided entirely by taking my time on the most boring parts of writing the project.

writing stories is like building a house. You always start from the basics of the story and the essential characters, refine those as much as possible and ONLY after you've done that..you can add more to it.
DON'T BE LIKE ME. Do not rush into a project without reviewing your ideas first.

good thing I have a copy of karate kid then! perfect reference for martial arts! :D

i don't even know how u can do fight scenes, I fear trying to work on them cause they might suck XD

amazing work!
January 30, 2026 at 8:42 PM
it will. the funds from companies like netflix and nvidia are purely to support blender and to showcase their technology with the program.
they do not and will never have influence on the development and future of blender going forward, only the heads of the company will.

If I fail at this, at least I'll fail with grace and dignity far greater than most. "A dream you don't fight your hardest for, can haunt you for the rest of your life".

so I'll dream, and I'll work until my body begs me for mercy, because there's nothing in the world I want more than to draw.
January 26, 2026 at 10:08 PM
but I know that with time, all the work I put into everything I do will be recognized, appreciated, and maybe it'll get me to a point where somebody like Glitch could actually look at my stuff and be interested. But at the end of the day I can only work hard and hope that's the case.
January 26, 2026 at 10:08 PM
that I never truly figured out how to grind. I never did grind before for art, I did it purely out of passion and never for personal gain or clout, but now I gotta, and thus I gotta put 3x the effort. My last comic literally took me 8 and a half hours of labour. I never work that much on a piece.
January 26, 2026 at 10:08 PM
my only hope is that my hard work is recognized, that I advertize and continuosly promote my projects like my life depends on it...and NEVER. STOP. GRINDING.

if I want to make it far I gotta grind like that's the only thing keeping me alive, as if I'm fixing my own life support.
and the truth is-
January 26, 2026 at 10:08 PM
or anybody like me for that matter. Glitch only ever considers hiring those who have cemented themselves online as creators for a decade or more, I have basically just started out. No matter what my skill level is, if I don't have a following, I don't matter in the discussion.
January 26, 2026 at 10:08 PM
compared to them. Competing with a giant is impossible, and that's the cold hard truth. I can work hard and make my projects as good as I can, but they will never compete with industry leading experts and skilled storytellers at Glitch.

then again what choice do I have? They would never hire me-
