Overall impression of Dutch parliament debate is that yet again, everything is focused on asylum. Rather than income, industry, education, environment, defense. Apparently nobody, including the VVD, has learned the lesson that when you focus on immigration, the PVV wins. Nobody else.

This vote by the US is just staggering. Not standing against a violation of international law and not condemning the massive numbers of war crimes of Russia will affect US security and damage our alliances and national reputation. I’m ashamed of this action.
