the way it allows me to play characters and therefore comps that i can never play (zero intention of getting them). idc it only works for lower difficulty. AT LEAST I GET TO TRY THEM!!!

ive been trying to complete the advanced quests in fgo for the farming CEs and honestly? im having the most fun ive had in turn-based gameplay in forever. really enjoy the weird gimmicks they throw at me, plus they kinda make sense characterisation wise
eg.

At the start of the battle, she gains Special Resistance of 99%, Poison, Curse, Burn, Pigify debuffs immunity, Guts of 100,000 (3 times) and When Guts activates, increases her resistance against NP Damage by 15% [All Permanent, Unremovable]
Each turn, will issue a Special Training Menu (特訓メニュー?) for a card type in the order Quick > Arts > Buster, which increases her own performance of that card type by 5% for that turn [Unremovable] (So you can tell the card type for that turn even if you miss the message, and the aura around her will also change colour accordingly with Quick (Green), Arts (Blue), Buster (Red)), and gives Master party if attacking Captain Scáthach with the specified card type, charges their own NP Gauge by 20% and gains NP Damage Up of 5% for 5 times

200 pulls later... Np2 yasss, and I maxed him out as much as I could for now (np5 is only worth a consideration after I np5 Zhou Yu... Stares off into the distance)

forgot to talk about the primary colours in the volumes so far too
v1: blues
v2: oranges
v3: blue & yellow (+ red in bg)
v4: green & yellow
the colours are also coming closer and now in v4, we have analogous colours which are just sitting next to each other (DELUSIONALLLLL)

back to white. white connects the themes of 'a better future' and 'freedom' through the clouds, birds and papers. guess what else is white. the shoes on jiang cheng's feet. with white papers and shoes, jiang cheng is much more capable of achieving the better future that he's been fighting for

white is an interesting colour, because it's blank, it's the colour of paper and we know school is JC's way to fight his way to a better future, out of this shithole of a town. and what do we see here? JC studying, but Gu Fei, not. he's singing, playing his guitar, appearing happy with closed eyes

v4 cover appears to follow v3's colours in the sense that it has two primary colours taking centre stage (while v1-2 mostly featured a single colour), but unlike v3 which featured them in vibrant hues, v4 goes back to cooler hues, colder - definitely intentional. more on that later
