Sony teaming up with the Danish blood donor organisation to give away a copy of Bloodborne to new signups in 2015 was pretty great.

It’s familiar enough that the relative differences become a starker contrast.

So even though Canada is in many ways US-lite, especially on corporate and business, it just draws the ire of those hyper focused on culture war issues not knowing or caring that they’re the outlier in the western world.

They have their SA. Next comes the Reichstagsfire type event(s) to justify what “must be done”.

So Hanania doesn’t really like fascism?
Are we then to assume he was just cosplaying as a white supremacist cheerleader for money and influence rather than actual conviction - and is this lack of principles any better?

(I mean, say what you want about national socialism. At least it’s and ethos …)

Tagged in Alberta there’s a 50/50 chance the author meant Jews and/or people who speak French.

I suspect many liberal or leftist jurists would find it difficult to ruin dozens or hundreds of lives while cosplaying a theocratic fascist in the hopes of only perhaps getting to remedy some of that damage in the future.

Principles and conscience get in the way of many great schemes.

If family circumstances and finances permit, going abroad for a personal breather can be good self care. I’m sure there are indie devs in Europe or maybe somewhere warmer who would have you visit.

About 2.5 years now. Love it.

Belt drive is much superior to chain for daily commute biking. Far less upkeep, doesn’t go slack, makes less noise.

Steel bike frame is great and more comfortable than aluminium. Shimano Alfine 8 speed hub is quite good but today I would maybe spring for the 11 speed.

I know two people who did their master’s and ph.d. in statistics at the University of Aarhus and were quite happy with it. Nice campus in a lovely town with a big student population.

Sony’s recent forays into live service games have been an unmitigated disaster, apart from Helldivers 2, and they kinda botched that on PC as well.
Good riddance Jim Ryan is gone and they look to be changing up quite a bit. But it has still hurt the company both in revenue and image.

I don’t think Xbox could have avoided layoffs altogether, especially with this being the third round of layoffs as MS this year. But as you also allude to in the video there have been issues with the stewardship of Xbox and its development portfolio for some time now.
