Certainly not.
Ukraine could very well lose this war.
November 25, 2025 at 11:43 AM
Only two ways to make that reality.
- Ukrainian victory on the battlefield (highly unlikely).
- Some kind of Russian collapse or coup (possible, but can Ukraine hold on that long?).
November 24, 2025 at 7:58 PM
But since the war is between Russia and Ukraine all this is so silly.

Cosplaying peace negotiations.
November 24, 2025 at 7:40 PM
There will obviously not be any any deal with Russia that doesnt include amnesty unless the Putin regime falls first and is replaced by somebody who can and will send criminals to tribunals in other countries (= almost zero chance).

So people are very naive if they thought this would ever happen.
November 24, 2025 at 12:07 PM
Depends what you mean by "defeat".

But no doubt Putin wants something he can sell as a victory.
And that would include some part of Ukraine becoming Russia and no Nato membership for Ukraine.
November 24, 2025 at 12:03 PM
Yes. This is how Trump works in negotiations. He wants to focus on the positives and leave the difficult parts for later.

Its what he did with Gaza too.

But at best he will get a cease fire in Ukraine. I dont believe they are anywhere near a deal.
November 24, 2025 at 12:00 PM
I would not be surprised if there is progress on a couple of the easiest parts of a draft deal, and Trump thinks this means real chance of a deal.

But I think reality is that Russia and Ukraine are too far from each other on border and Ukraines future military.
So still no deal in sight.
November 24, 2025 at 11:58 AM
There was never any threat to Russia.

Not from Ukraine, not from Europe and not even from Nato.

There still wont be. Nobody wants war with Russia.
But all Russia managed to do was creating a Europe much more ready for confrontation.

He wants gold and a Rolex.
November 23, 2025 at 7:56 PM
I notice that Zelensky is no mentioning territorial integrity of freedom to have a large military.

At least not in this quote.
November 23, 2025 at 7:52 PM
Just a few details like border and size of military.
November 23, 2025 at 7:49 PM
En mere gangbar vej ville være hvis USA og Europa enedes om en rammeaftale som var bedre, men ikke perfekt, for Ukraine, og herefter lagde det nødvendige pres på parterne.
November 23, 2025 at 4:39 PM
Den sædvanlige zig zag kurs fra Trump.

Det forekommer at være spild af tid, og det bliver næppe let at få parterne til at indgå en aftale, hvis den ene part hele tiden vil have fordel af at vente på den næste humørsvingning.
November 23, 2025 at 4:37 PM
One thing is public statements, another thing is what could be agreed in negotiations.

But I still dont think it will be possible for Russia and Ukraine to agree on a deal yet..

For that to happen Europe and the US would have to make a deal together and put pressure on both sides.
November 23, 2025 at 4:22 PM
Its not relevant if the plan is good or bad. Or if it is fair or not.

The only relevant question is if it is the best POSSIBLE outcome.

I dont think it is.
But I am far from sure fighting till the end for military victory is either.

Ukraine should be going for a deal. Even if it takes compromise.
November 23, 2025 at 4:02 PM
Give Russia 3 options for Ukrainian security:
- 250.000 soldiers and Nato membership.
- 350.000 soldiers plus 10.000 European partner soldiers.
- 500.000 soldiers.
November 23, 2025 at 2:31 PM
Americans really wish they had a royal family and aristocracy.
November 23, 2025 at 2:18 PM
If you only look at Russias problems it will look like they are losing and will collapse.

But Ukriane has its own very serious problems.
The manpower problems has been preventing offensives for 2 years and it will only get worse.
Support from Europe and the US is fragile and will not continue.
November 23, 2025 at 10:30 AM
Because they lost hundreds of thousands of soldiers.
Because millions of people fleed the country.
Because their economy is crashing in one of Europes poorest countries.
And they are risking losing everything by continuing the war.
Thays way.
November 23, 2025 at 10:21 AM
Because the US are not the ones who lost hundreds of thousands of soldiers.
They are not the ones who saw millions of people flee their country.
They didnt see their economy crash in one of Europes poorest countries.
And they are not risking losing everything by continuing the war.
Thays way.

Words...

The real question is who will actually win if this war continues.
I dont think any one can say for sure.

But Ukraines manpower crisis, and uncertainty about elections and long term support from partners, mean that Ukraine should at least be interested in making a deal
November 23, 2025 at 8:44 AM
I am sure Ukraine would be willing to give up some land for peace.
And so they should.

Human lives are important too.
Preventing more millions of people from leaving a country already in demographic crisis is important too.
Rebuilding economy in a poor country is imporant too.
November 23, 2025 at 8:35 AM
This is good.
Keep the talk going untill the push for this plan falls apart.

Insist on cease fire before serious talks. Let Russia be the ones who dont agree to cease fire.
November 23, 2025 at 8:28 AM
Or missile. I think it sounded like a missile in another video from there.
November 22, 2025 at 11:25 PM
Sounds like missile to me. Not drone.
