It is horrific to watch this from the outside. In Europe we have experienced this before, and it is obvious where it will end. It will get REALLY bad. Fair people of democracy is still patiently waiting for some next election that will not happen, while being run over by a well designed powerhouse.

Vance today publicly told every ICE Agent that they had permission to shoot and kill any protester they believe might obstruct them in any way. Let that sink in. There will be no cosequences.

Compared to reports from the detention centers, maybe getting shot is the more attractive option.

They removed a government of another country using military power, bombing their cities, killing ~100 people in the process. That IS an act of war, regardless of how little you liked that government. Bending semantics to fit a narrative framing you as heroic is not how definitions work.
